Exhibition catalogue author Didier Rousselet writes, "It's a nice idea and the proposal is clear: two cities glance at each other or rather each city invites one of its artists to serve as its eye on the other. From Reims, a photographer comes to glance at Arlington; from Arlington, another does the same in Reims. Each of them returns home with his or her rich crop of photographs revealing hidden truths and so far overlooked obvious features."Opening Reception: Thursday, January 22, 20096 - 9 p.m.Arlington Cultural Affairs will sponsor photographer John Babineau in photographing Arlington's sister city, Reims, France.
