Quand vous rentrez dans l’atelier de Guy Péqueux vous avez l’impression de découvrir le grenier de votre enfance et vous vous retrouvez à des années lumière des ateliers spacieux et ordonnés de ces artistes en manque d’inspiration. Les papiers, pots de peintures et pinceaux semblent posés là comme s’ils avaient été abandonnés à leur sort. Mais après cet instant de magie vous pouvez observer l’ordre et la méthodologie du rangement de l’artiste en pleine effervescence de création. Tous ces instruments qui lui servent à créer ses symphonies de couleurs semblent posés là, comme des bouquets de fleurs pour compléter la décoration du lieu qui vous aura semblé dans un premier temps anarchique. Tubes, brosses et papiers entourent l’œuvre en cours et deviennent des notes de musique qui seront ensuite posées et ordonnées sur le papier, comme une introduction musicale après le brouhaha des instruments que l’on accorde.
